Your travel insurer will not process a claim without a proper medical report. Thai immigration or the land transport office asks for a health certificate for a visa, work permit or driving licence application — or your dive school wants written confirmation that you are safe to go underwater. How it works at our clinic

No appointment is needed. Walk in any day of the week — we are open daily, with a doctor on call 24 hours for urgent cases. An English-speaking doctor takes your history, examines you, and runs any supporting tests in our on-site lab if the certificate requires them. The document is then printed, signed and stamped before you leave, on official clinic letterhead with the doctor’s licence number — the format Thai authorities, employers and insurers expect. If you are too unwell to travel to Chaweng, we can arrange a doctor visit to your hotel or villa anywhere on the island and issue the certificate on the spot.

You will get a clear price before the doctor begins — the fee depends on the type of certificate and whether lab tests are needed, and there are no hidden extras. If your visit is for an illness or injury covered by your policy, we offer direct billing with most travel insurers, so in many cases you pay nothing out of pocket. A real examination, not just a stamp

A certificate is only as credible as the clinic behind it. Ours are issued by licensed Thai doctors after a proper consultation, which is why they are accepted by airlines, insurers and government offices. It also means that if the examination uncovers something that needs treatment, you are already in the right place — with a pharmacy and laboratory under the same roof. One honest caveat: if you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding or any other emergency symptom, do not come to us for paperwork — go to the nearest hospital emergency department immediately.
